Rice grain porcelain is a traditional Chinese porcelain technique dating back to the Ming dynasty. (A.D. 1368) 650years ago. Craftsman hollow carved rice-grain-pattern holes on the clay evenly, filled in special glaze and then firing in the kiln. A semi translucent finish in the small holes was created. It is characterized by a refined and semi translucent pattern.
Adopting traditional Chinese rice grain craftsmanship employed in its production process, RICE features a subtle, translucent cut-out pattern reminiscent of rice grain.
Simple and neat rice patterns is designed and appeared on one side of the porcelain only which is less complicated but more details attention.
