The minimal design and the attention to details are to awaken the sense of touch while in use. With no ambition to translate the philosophy of the center figure of Chinese Taoism, Lao Tsze (500 B.C.), designer tries to record her understanding for this master’s thinking: harmony between the being (有you) and the non-being (無wu). To keep the design as minimal as possible is to encourage the user to notice the void emptiness, the hollow part that people put food in/on. Consistent and floating lines in this series have made your own free combination on the table a fun and an artistic event.
