The minimal design and the attention to details are to awaken thesense of touch while in use. With no ambition to translate the philosophy ofthe center figure of Chinese Taoism, Lao Tsze (500 B.C.), designer tries torecord her understanding for this master’s thinking: harmony between the being (有you) and the non-being (無wu). To keep thedesign as minimal as possible is to encourage the user to notice the voidemptiness, the hollow part that people put food in/on. Consistent and floatinglines in this series have made your own free combination on the table a fun andan artistic event.
