The designer adopted the strong calligraphic lines of Shou Jing Ti, a font created by Emperor Song Hui

Zong (1082 AD-1135 AD), in the design of this cutlery set. The strong but fluid contour of the handle is
the result of carefully crafting the balance of various materials and the aesthetic of the art of Chinese
calligraphy.
